Rumormongering

Besides the great problem of frustration of not reading the rules well (or not remembering them) and attending an event as complete and complicated as this without being well informed, we have detected (in the complaints of the players) another factor to take into account : the rumormongering.

There are rumors already before the game starts, but especially during the event, and most subsequent complaints are closely related to this problem. Some examples:

  • Some survivors have told us that the game is over!
  • Someone commented that they have closed this test due to an accident.
  • We have been told that this year's prize is € 10,000 for the winner.
  • Someone from the organization told me that he didn't even know what he had to do, so what's going on?.
  • The actors themselves didn't know what to tell me.
  • The military is shooting people! There are snipers on the rooftops!

And so we could quote many more. All the rumors can be summarized in three sources, which are the following:

  • Players that are lying to you so that you do not win and they have more possibilities: There is no clue, there will not help you over there, the event is over, there were winners already at 02:30, etc
  • People who do not play and tease the players. They do not even have an identification handkerchief or bracelet. Here we must emphasize that the players who ask for help and directions to the people and who are not players (neighbors, civil protection, police, business owners, etc.), are also cheating, since you should only interact with players with green and yellow identifications. If the scarf is red, run!
  • Players who invent things and then talk about them as if they were real. Yes, it's sad, but it happens.
For us it is annoying because all our hard work is ruined. We understand that fatigue makes you think that if an actor does not give you a clue or some other sort of help it is because he is not doing his job well. It is easier to think that rather than realizing it is you who is not doing your tasks well. Maybe that actor is only there to waste your time, pretending to be schizophrenic, giving you conflicting information depending on whether the minutes are odd or even. This is the Survival Zombie game level, that point of control over each person in the organization.
We insist again: This is a REAL GAME. We are not going to help you reach the end; we will not make it easy for you; You won't understand what the story is about until it's too late. You will not survive; you will not win; You will not have a single chance to achieve the goals you have set at home before coming. We will separate you from your friends; we will leave you alone; We will make it happen to you and the physical and psychological pressure will make you say: This is bullshit, I'm going home, they've scammed me! And every time we hear that a smile is drawn on the face of a zone coordinator, because his people are doing the right thing.

99% of you will fall in one way or another: caught by a Z, caught in a trap, cheated by organizational members with green scarves infiltrated among you, kidnapped by the military, expelled for cheating when you think nobody looks, eaten For a horde ... but above all, you will fall by your own choice: I can not commit suicide, I look for a horde and eat me, I want to see the other part of the game from the zombie side, so I let myself eat.

And it is not a mere physical matter. Any person, sportsman or not, can endure a cane night. It is totally psychological: fear, loneliness, distant screams, uncertainty, frustration and physical fatigue will send a clear and resounding message to your brain: Stop, rest, give up, this is not your thing, it is badly organized, here There is no one, there are no clues, nobody knows anything, this is crap ...

The true survivors are those who ignore these rumors and move on, because there is always a prize at the end of the night, at dawn.

In short: do not listen to any of the rumors, because they are prepared by us or not, they are only there to end you. Or not, maybe someone led to save you ... you never know.
